Camping Recipe #1: Peanut Butter Smores

2 packages chocolate covered peanut butter cups
8 graham cracker squares
4 large marshmallows

Place a peanut butter cup on each of four crackers. Toast marshmallows over campfire or grill. Place one toasted marshmallow on top of each peanut butter cup. Top with cracker. Hold together for a few moments to melt the chocolate.

The kids will love this one....

Recipe Camping #2: Banana Boat

1 unpeeled banana
semisweet chocolate chips
miniature marshmallows
brown sugar

Split each banana lengthwise, leaving the skin on. Do not split all the way through. Put one or two tsp each of marshmallows and chocolate chips in the split. Sprinkle with brown sugar. Wrap in foil, being sure to seal ends. Place on coals or grill with the seam side up. This recipe camping should take about 7 minutes to cook.

Camping Recipe #3: Chocolate Orange Cake

6 oranges
1 package chocolate cake mix

Chop off the top 1/4 of an orange. Spoon out the fruit.

Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to directions supplied with the produce.

Fill each orange shell about 2/3 of the way full with the prepared chocolate cake mix.

Wrap in foil. Place in hot coals for about 15 minutes. Remove from fire. Serve warm or cold.

Recipe Camping #4: Chocolate Cherry Cake

1 package chocolate cake mix
1 can cherry pie filling
1 can Sprite

Put all ingredients in a Dutch oven. Mix cake mix, pie filling and Sprite together until blended. Put lid on Dutch oven and place it on hot coals. Put a few hot coals on top of the lid. Cook for 15 or 20 minutes or until done.

Recipe Camping #5: Mud and Rocks Cake

1 angel food cake
1 small package instant chocolate pudding
1 large container dessert topping
1 package toffee chips

Slice your angel cake in half horizontally. Mix pudding and dessert topping together and spread half of it over the bottom half of the cake. Sprinkle with half the toffee chips. Replace top half of cake and spread with remaining ingredients.
